What is ArtReview?
Founded in 1949, ArtReview is one of the world’s leading international contemporary art magazines, dedicated to expanding contemporary art’s audience and reach, and tracing the ways it interacts with culture in general. Aimed at both a specialist and a general audience, the magazine and its sibling publication, ArtReview Asia (launched in 2013), feature a mixture of criticism, reviews, commentary and analysis alongside commissioned artist projects, guides and special supplements.
ArtReview’s website artreview.com features art and cultural news, criticism, opinion, video, podcasts, articles from the latest issues of ArtReview and ArtReview Asia, artist projects, highlights from the magazines’ 70-year archives and multimedia content from around the web. It was redesigned and relaunched in May 2020. Each year, ArtReview publishes the Power 100, released simultaneously on artreview.com and ranking the contemporary artworld’s most powerful influencers. The list was launched in 2002 and all editions are available on artreview.com.
How often is ArtReview published?
ArtReview publishes nine issues a year, including two dedicated to particular areas of focus: the Power 100 in the December issue and Future Greats at the beginning of the year. It is distributed throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia. ArtReview Asia publishes four issues a year and is distributed throughout the region and in selected outlets elsewhere.

You'll need your new subscriber number to do this, this is not the same as your order number sent at the time or purchase. We'll send details about this to you as soon as your subscription is processed, please be aware that this is done by a real person and is not automatic, it can sometimes take a few days to provide you with this, if you need it fast drop us an email
When my subscription ends, will it automatically renew?
No, we take one off payments for the period of your initial order. We do not automatically charge your credit card when a subscription ends. We will contact you in advance of your end date with options about how to renew, or you can simply reorder here and we'll link your old and new order.
Can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time. We will refund you the portion of the subscription that has not been used at the date of cancelling.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We gladly accept all major credit card providers including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Amex, Maestro, Diners Club, Union Pay as well as well as some county specific options. You may also use platforms such as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay. You'll see the options available to you at checkout.
How secure is this store?
This store uses systems that automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
How long until my items arrive?
It depends on your choice of product and where in the world your item(s) are being sent to.
All single or multiple issue purchases are sent by a tracked method, either by Royal Mail, Yodel or Fedex. We aim to use the most efficient service for each order based on location, size and weight - with a view to delivering within 7-10 days for most locations worldwide.
We aim to process and dispatch items usually ship within 1-2 business days of order placement, and then shipping times should be added, you can see these at point of paying.
Subscriptions generally start with the next available issue to be published, unless specified otherwise. This can mean that you may wait several weeks before receiving your first copy of your subscription.
Will you send me information about tracking?
Yes, you'll be notified by email as items are dispatched, we'll provide you with a tracking number and a link to where you can stay updated
What is your return/refund policy?
Not all items are returnable. Please see our Refund policy for more information. To Make a Return or Exchange items must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Please
email shop@artreview.com to explain the situation, and include your name and address and order number, this can be found on your order notification and looks like this '#AR0000SH'
What if my order is defective/damaged/incorrect?
If your order either contains the wrong item(s) or defective item(s), arrives damaged, or not at all. Please contact shop@artreview.com before shipping your items back, as you may not need to do so.
