In the April 2025 issue of ArtReview, Japanese-Sāmoan artist Yuki Kihara brings to Britain her ongoing Paradise Camp project, part of a larger practice that explores the diversity of sex and gender traits while dismantling the historical Western gaze cast on the bodies and sexuality of Indigenous peoples in the South Pacific – expect appearances by Charles Darwin.
